1. Introduction
ARPAI GEO is a monitoring and analytics service that tracks your brand's presence in AI-powered search engines. It shows how artificial intelligence sees and recommends your business, and helps you improve your rankings.
What ARPAI GEO Does
- Tracks how AI search engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI, Grok, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Microsoft Copilot, You.com) mention your brand
- Measures Share of Voice (SOV) — how often AI recommends you compared to competitors
- Identifies competitors that AI considers your direct rivals
- Conducts a GEO audit of your website from an AI optimization perspective
- Generates a promotion strategy and content to improve your AI visibility
How It Works
The system simultaneously sends queries to all 8 AI engines, analyzes the responses, and generates a consolidated report. Each monitoring run takes 3-5 minutes. Results are saved so you can track changes over time.
2. Getting Started
Registration
Go to arpai-geo.com and click "Sign Up." Enter your name and email — a confirmation code will be sent to the specified address. Enter the code, create a password (minimum 8 characters), and accept the terms of service. You will then be automatically logged in.
Creating Your First Monitor
After logging in, you will see the dashboard. Click the "+ Create Monitor" button.
- Brand name — enter your company or brand name as your customers know it
- Website URL — your website address (e.g.,
example.com). The system will automatically analyze the site and determine your company profile - Click "Create" — the monitor will appear on your dashboard
Dashboard
The dashboard displays all your monitors. For each monitor, you can see the brand name and URL. Click on a monitor card to access detailed settings and results.
The top navigation bar includes:
- Credit balance — your current number of available credits
- Plans — view and purchase subscription plans
- Support — contact the ARPAI GEO team

3. Monitoring Locations
Inside each monitor, there is a "Monitoring" tab. Here you manage locations — geographic areas where your brand visibility is tracked.
Adding a Location
Click "+ Add Location" and specify a city, region, or country (e.g., "New York," "California," "United States"). The system will create a set of search queries tailored to that location.
Running a Monitoring Scan
Click the "Run Analysis" button next to the desired location. Monitoring takes 3-5 minutes. While the analysis is running, the button will show a loading indicator.
Monitoring Costs
For a full price list, see the "Plans & Billing" section.

4. Monitoring Results
After the analysis is complete, click on a location to open a detailed report. The report contains several key sections.
Share of Voice (SOV)
SOV (Share of Voice) is the primary metric. It shows what proportion of AI search engine responses feature your brand compared to competitors. SOV is measured as a percentage.
- Overall SOV — average share across all queries and engines
- Brand SOV — share in responses to queries containing your brand name. Shows how well AI "knows" you
- Non-brand SOV — share in responses to generic queries without mentioning your brand (e.g., "best project management tool"). Shows whether AI recommends you without a direct query
Results by Engine
An individual SOV is shown for each of the 8 AI engines. This helps you understand where your brand is well-represented and where improvement is needed:
- ChatGPT — the world's most popular AI assistant (OpenAI)
- Perplexity — an AI search engine with source citations
- Google AI — Gemini-powered AI answers
- Google AI Overviews — AI-generated snippets in Google Search
- Grok — xAI's real-time AI assistant
- Google AI Mode — Google's conversational AI search mode
- Microsoft Copilot — Microsoft's AI-powered assistant
- You.com — multi-model AI search with real-time web access
Mention Types
Each brand mention in an AI response is classified:
- Direct — AI explicitly names your brand and recommends it
- Indirect — AI describes your product or service but does not name the brand directly
- Positive — positive context of the mention
- Neutral — neutral mention, without evaluation
Top 20 Sources
A list of websites that AI engines cite most frequently when answering your queries. These are sites where you should place information about your brand — reviews, articles, company profiles.
5. Queries
Queries are the questions the system asks AI search engines to evaluate your brand's visibility.
Query Types
- Brand queries — contain your brand name. For example: "[Your brand] reviews and pricing." These check whether AI knows your brand
- Non-brand queries — generic queries for your category. For example: "best project management tool." These check whether AI recommends you without a direct mention
- Custom queries — queries you add manually. You can test any wording you choose
Editing Queries
Click on the "Queries" tab inside the monitor. Here you will see all current queries, organized by type. You can:
- Add a new custom query — click "+ Add Query"
- Delete an unwanted query — click the trash icon
- Regenerate standard queries — the system will create a new set based on the company profile
6. Products & Services
In addition to overall brand monitoring, you can track specific products or services.
Adding a Product
Go to the "Products/Services" tab inside the monitor and click "+ Add Product". Specify:
- Product/service name — how your customers search for it
- Page URL (if available) — link to the product page on your website
Product Monitoring Results
Click the "Run Analysis" button next to a product. After completion, you will see:
- Competing products table — products that AI recommends instead of yours. For each, the name, brand, price, URL, and reason for recommendation are shown
- "Verified" badge — the competitor product URL has been verified and is accessible
- Product SOV — your product's share among AI recommendations
7. Competitor Analysis
The system automatically identifies competitors — brands that AI search engines mention in responses to your queries.
Competitor Table
The "Competitors" section displays a table with the following columns:
- Brand — competitor name
- Website — competitor's website URL (clickable)
- SOV — competitor's share of voice (higher = AI recommends them more)
- Mentions — number of mentions in AI responses
- CI (Confidence Index) — the confidence with which AI recommends the competitor. A high CI means AI is "confident" in the recommendation
What to Do with the Results
Competitors with a high SOV are your main rivals in the AI space. Study their websites, content, and strategy. The "Recommendations" section (Chapter 9) will suggest specific steps to improve your rankings.
8. GEO Audit
A GEO audit is a review of how "readable" your website is for AI search engines. AI engines use the content of your site to generate responses, and it is important that this content is properly structured.
Company Profile
Before running a GEO audit, the system needs your company profile. It is filled in automatically during site analysis. Check the following:
- Company name — is it correctly identified
- Description — is the business activity described accurately
- Category — is the correct industry selected
If the data is incorrect, click "Edit" and make changes manually.
Running the Audit
Click "Run GEO Audit". The system will analyze your website and produce a report with scores across several categories:
- Content Structure — how well the text on your site is organized
- Technical Optimization — meta tags, schema.org, page load speed
- E-E-A-T Factors — Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness
- AI Compatibility — how easily AI search engines can extract information
9. Recommendations
Based on monitoring results and the GEO audit, the system generates personalized recommendations for improving your AI visibility.
Recommendation Categories
- Content — what to write, where to publish, which topics to cover
- Technical — changes to your website (meta tags, structure, schema.org)
- External Platforms — which websites to place your brand information on
- Brand — how to strengthen brand recognition for AI
Priorities
Each recommendation has a priority level:
- High — will have the greatest impact; start with these
- Medium — important, but can be addressed second
- Low — useful but not critical
10. History & Trends
Each monitoring run is saved. You can review past results and track trends over time.
Trend Chart
The "Trends Over Time" section displays a chart of SOV changes. When you hover over a point on the chart, you will see the SOV values for each of the 8 engines on that date.
Run History
Below the chart is a list of all monitoring runs with dates. Click on any run to view the full report for that date. This allows you to compare "before" and "after" results following your actions.
11. Webmaster
The "Webmaster" tab contains tools for tracking AI-driven traffic to your website.
AI Pixel
The AI pixel is an invisible tracking code that you install on your website. It tracks visits from users who came from AI search engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI, and others).
Installation
- Go to the "Webmaster" tab inside the monitor
- Copy the code snippet (click the "Copy" button)
- Paste the code before the closing
</body>tag on all pages of your website
Traffic Statistics
After installing the pixel, you will see:
- Total visits (30 days) — total number of AI-driven visits
- By source — which AI search engine the user came from
- Top pages — which pages on your site receive the most visits from AI
12. Promotion
The "Promotion" tab is a set of AI-powered tools for creating content that boosts your brand visibility.
12.1. Source Analysis
Click "Analyze Sources" — the system will identify platforms and websites where you should place information about your brand to improve AI visibility.
Results are organized into categories:
- Industry platforms — specialized resources in your industry

- Content platforms — blogs, media outlets, and forums for publishing articles and expert opinions
For each source, a priority and description are provided — explaining why this particular platform matters.
12.2. Article Topics
Click "Generate Topics" — AI will create a list of article topics optimized for AI search engines. Topics are based on:
- Queries where your SOV is low
- Content that your competitors are using
- Trends in your industry
For each topic, a target platform for publication is suggested.
12.3. Articles
Click "Generate Article" next to a chosen topic — AI will write a full article optimized for AI search engines.
- The article is formatted in markdown with headings, lists, and tables
- You can edit the text directly within the system
- The "Improve" button will send the article back to AI for revision based on your comments
12.4. Strategy
Click "Generate Strategy" to get a comprehensive promotion plan. The strategy includes:
- Content plan — what articles to write and where to publish them
- Technical optimization — what to change on your website
- Platform outreach — which external sites to build your presence on
- Brand building — how to strengthen brand recognition
Each strategy item has a priority level and expected outcome.

15. Frequently Asked Questions
What is SOV and why does it matter?
SOV (Share of Voice) is the proportion of AI search engine responses that mention your brand. The higher your SOV, the more frequently AI recommends you to users. It is a new visibility metric, analogous to rankings in traditional SEO.
How long does a monitoring run take?
A single monitoring run takes 3-5 minutes. The system queries all 8 AI engines simultaneously across all your queries.
How often should I run monitoring?
We recommend once a week to track trends. After publishing new articles or making changes to your website, you can run it more frequently.
Why might SOV be 0%?
This means that no AI search engine mentioned your brand in its responses. This typically happens with non-brand queries for new or lesser-known brands. The "Recommendations" section will suggest how to address this.
What is the AI pixel?
An invisible tracking code on your website. It records visits from users who came from AI search engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.) and displays statistics in the "Webmaster" section.
Can I delete a monitor?
Yes. On the dashboard, click the trash icon next to the monitor. All monitoring data will be permanently deleted.
What is the difference between brand and non-brand queries?
Brand queries contain your brand name (e.g., "[Your brand] reviews"). Non-brand queries are generic, without the brand name (e.g., "best delivery service"). Non-brand SOV shows whether AI recommends you without a direct request.
Is it safe to install the AI pixel?
Yes. The pixel is lightweight and does not slow down your website. It uses two first-party cookies (_arpai_vid for visitor identification, _arpai_src for source attribution) and referrer/UTM detection to identify AI traffic. It does not build cross-site profiles or share data with third-party advertising networks. As the website owner deploying the pixel, you are responsible for any cookie consent required in your region.
